MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more. Click on the photos and links.

First up--and coming May 21 and 22nd, an outstanding auction from Bertoia---PAUL COLE'S 50 YEAR COLLECTION OF FINE AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN TRAINS--plus early tin and presed steel toys.

Trigger alert; some of these items reflect the times they were made in.  If that sort of thing gives you the vapors, just move along.

Woke comments will be incinerated on sight.

For everyone else, you can find out more info about this auction and download an online catalog too--by clicking here.

Next up, Blumchen is doing a limited offering of small angel ornaments---dubbed the Cute Cherubic Angel---in a vintage box--great graphics; see them here while they last.

And finally from the the private collection of Lady J, and by special request from a local collector, an antique animated flower girl (automata) circa 1880's; the doll lifts the flower from the basket, all original.

Again, click on the photos and links.

Let's Go Shopping, yes there once was a pre-Amazon time!

Here's an updated Flickr set of shopping images, including some "shoppe/store" putz buildings created by Howard Lamey; click here

Wonderful vintage Bayko building set; this house has definite putzabilities; click here.

FROM TOYS AND STUFF: TRAIN TIME: The Edge of Town (EoT) Dept. of Public Works Makes a New Grade Crossing....

I think for the most part we all do it. Do what? Well, we build a train board, lay track, plop down buildings in the middle and call it a day. Somewhere along the way we may add a bit of scenery and a single grade crossing with a road going off the board to the fantasy world beyond.

SEE IT HERE.

For the commenter looking for a certain the Pack-o-Fun putz house pattern, this will probably help:
