ESCALATING GRAFITTI IN THE VILLAGE AND ON THE HIGHWAY, AN APRIL 2021 UPDATE

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship---in short, EVERYTHING CROTON. 

As many of you are aware, graffiti has significantly escalated in the village (and on the Route 9/9A highway wall) abutting the North Riverside - Waterfront area.  This became especially evident throughout the 2020 lockdown days and even now in the spring of 2021 (click on the photo for just one example). 

Some of this graffiti has been political in nature--mirroring current protests---some obscene, some profane, and other examples are just the usual tags and such.  Let it suffice to say that photos and police reports are on file. 

The purpose of this post is to once again encourage you to report the location of such graffiti to the village when you come across it---and to provide photographs when possible until---and IF--the miscreants are found.
