BREAKFAST WAS SERVED AT THE CROTON EAGLE NEST

As many of you know, your editor and an Elve had been monitoring a pair of courting eagles who have now nested-- (Read and see more about that here AND here.)  The location is not being posted but village officials, appropriate birding people, etc. have been notified. 

Here is a another shot---rest assured by telephoto so as not to disturb the integrity of the nest---breakfast had just been delivered---a small fish---alas, your editor missed the photo opp but got to watch that fine dining.  Click on the photo.
