From our friends at European Film Star Postcards--On Monday 24 February 2020, one of the last superstars of the silent film era has died. Diana Serra Cary (1918), best known as Baby Peggy passed away in Gustine, California.
She was one of the three major American child stars of the Hollywood silent movie era along with Jackie Coogan and Baby Marie. (CLICK ON THE PHOTO).
She spent decades coming to terms with a bizarre childhood of triumphs, heartbreaks, and parents who squandered her fortune. Diana Serra Cary was 101.
