First up, those of us who make our own models, train layouts and/or putz houses are always looking to add that touch of authenticity--a'la billboards and other ads. And so when we spotted this photo again (no known copyright restrictions), circa 1929, courtesy of the National Library of Scotland, we just had to share----perhaps there's some inspiration in there for you and your next project. It's been hi-defd to bring out as many details as possible from the small image available.
That's followed by a fab vintage Green Hornet costume, 1966...and from 1916, Christmas Pudding at the Front. It's all capped off with an amazing "House of the Month" from Peter Oehmen---a gorgeous made in Japan vintage putz that you can see more of here. Again, click on the photos and links..
