First up---and if you are easily triggered by these things--skip this paragraph and the first two photos entirely---we were all joking the other day about vintage "girl's toys"--and how many of them centered around hearth and home especially in the 40'S, 50's and early 60's.
From mock mixers--like the one to the right made by Marx/Linemar--to irons and more---loved them then....still love them now.
The toys are followed by a fab 1956 edition of Jackie Gleason's Funny Book for Boys and Girls....
And finally for your enjoyment....Courtesy once again of LOC, another outstanding old photo, the 1922 Dorset Christmas tree, sliced and diced so you can appreciate all that vintage Christmas--and toy---goodness. Again, click on the photos.
