An oldie but goodie...Gene probably paid more for this circa 1900's linen postcard than he should have (the image is in the public domain) but he had to have an original example next to his antique made in Germany toy blimp (pix soon!). It's easy to understand why. The image is so fantastical.
It's followed by one of our favorite vintage tin litho toy planes from a 2013 auction at SeriousToyz.com - It's by Ohio Art, a “Mechanical ‘Sea Patrol’ Sea Plane” #53, circa 1950s.
