"OUR GANG" SURVIVING MEMBERS DICKIE MOORE & JEAN DARLING HAVE PASSED AWAY

Yes...we admit it...whether it's politically correct or not, we loved the OUR GANG COMEDIES, a.k.a. The Little Rascals--both "casts".

And we're not alone.

We just  learned from one of our favorite blogs that surviving members Dickie Moore and Jean Darling passed away recently.

Darling was, along with Baby Peggy, one of the last surviving actors who worked in the silent film era. Three days later, she was followed by Dickie Moore (1925-2015), who died at the age of 89.

Moore is shown here with Spencer Tracey in the movie Disorderly Conduct.

And here's Jean Darling.

  1. This is great. We used to watch this show all the time on Saturday mornings. As I recall, it was on either Channel 9 or 11 very very early before Davy & goliath even started.

  2. That's so sad that Dickie Moore and Jean Darling have passed away. We heard this during the week too. Growing up, we were both big fans of "Our Gang" or, as we called it, "The Little Rascals". We have the eight disc DVD set called "The Complete Collection". When Hurricane Sandy hit three years ago, we lost our electricity (as did just about everyone else on Long Island) and we had just two hours of battery backup on Monica's laptop (my battery was dead). We spent those two hours watching The Little Rascals on DVD. (Rob)
