Next up--from FAMILY GARDEN TRAINS--G Gauge Christmas Train Sale at the Springfield Train Show Sunday. In the 1980s, Lionel produced several charming track-powered train sets that could run outside, but looked great around a Christmas tree. Most of these sell for $200 or more used now. Later, Lionel went to making battery-powered sets, including a Polar Express set.
