How the Grinch Stole Christmas! (also known as Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!) is a 1966 American animated television special, directed and co-produced by Chuck Jones. Based on the 1957 children's book of the same name by Dr. Seuss, the special features the voice of Boris Karloff (also a narrator) as the Grinch. It tells the story of the Grinch, who tries to ruin Christmas for the townsfolk of Whoville below his mountain hideaway.
The wonderful Thurl Ravenscroft (the voice of Tony the Tiger and more) sang YOU'RE A MEAN ONE MISTER GRINCH (click on the image for a past event featuring Ravenscroft)
Ravenscroff died in May of 2022.

Karloff was born William Henry Pratt (23 November 1887 – 2 February 1969), better known by his stage name Boris Karloff, and an English actor.
He was widely known for his portrayal of Frankenstein's monster in Frankenstein (1931), Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and Son of Frankenstein (1939), which resulted in his immense popularity.
