First up, another Paper Glitter Glue Miniature Christmas House Contest has come and gone--and what a year!
There were some outstanding entries---and really creative examples of this growing art form.
See the winners of the 2024 contest at 2024 Miniature Christmas House Contest - Paper Glitter Glue
Next up, a fabulous item from a past auction at SERIOUSTOYZ---the “Chippenfield’s Circus Models Gift Set” #23–A2, 1966, Corgi; missing 1 giraffe but was otherwise complete....this set is downright "putzable".
It's followed by another oldie but goodie from SeriousToyz -- an amazing tin friction "All State Express” Bus from the 1950's, made by “TM” (Modern Toys) Japan--Better still, all 4 rubber “lights” intact--and with the box! Amazing graphics on both the box and the bus!
FOR THE READER looking to dye her own bottle brush trees in the colors she'd like for an upcoming wedding party, there are a number of techniques out there. Here's one of them---using distress inks....Lucy tells you all about it; just click here.
