BY FAR, your editor had the best brisket ever at a Seder some years back.  Sooooo good I had to get the recipe (and while my hostess added figs, they're totally optional).

And of course the Seder table was a vision in blue, silver and white tones.  My hostess was fortunate to find a complete set of vintage blue and white transferware dishes from the Thrift Shop of St. Christopher and St. Patrick.
