Welcome
to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history,
our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of
worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
Here are some photos
and info from last night's CHHS Volleyball Senior Game. Photos courtesy
of student volunteer, Anna Eng, who gives permission for them to be
used.
The
Croton-Harmon Varsity Volleyball team swept North Salem in three sets
(25/22 - 25/18 - 25/13) on their senior recognition evening. The team is
stacked with talent and a deep bench and is now 3-0.

Senior Captain, Olivia Piasecki led the Tiger's offense with 12 kills and 8 aces.
Piasecki was named LoHud's 'Player of the Day'. Senior Captain and 2021
Class Salutatorian, Camilla Giorcelli had 4 kills and 2 blocks. Senior,
Sydney Farber (libero position) had 3 kills. Senior, Leyla Quintana
rounded out the evening with 2 kills. Senior, Katie Abruzzese was in
attendance but not playing. Abruzzese was a major contributor to the
Tigers and will be attending and playing volleyball for Smith College in
the fall.
Coach
Keela Shatzkin is in her third year as head coach. As a CHHS
graduate herself and also a head coach for the Downstate Volleyball Club
in Peekskill, Shatzkin has had an immeasurable impact on the team. We
wish the Seniors the best in their future endeavors. Remember, 'Once a
Tiger, always a Tiger!'
