Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Our Girls Varsity Basketball team competed in the 'Battle on the Hudson' Gazette Cup tournament on March 9th.
The Gazette Cup is a yearly tradition. It is a friendly local matchup between the Hendrick Hudson Sailors and the Croton Tigers basketball teams.
The varsity games were held at Hen Hud HS this year.
This year, the Sailors took home the trophy with a 59-52 victory. Grace Moretti was the lead scorer for the Sailors with 16 points. Anna Eng was the lead scorer for the Tigers with 21. Both girls were named MVP for their respective teams.
The Putnam/Northern Westchester Championship games take place this week also. The Tigers, ranked no. 5, will match up with the no. 4 seed, the Lakeland Hornets in the first round of playoffs on Wednesday, March 10th.
Kudos to Anna Eng again! On February 23, with 1 minute and 27 seconds left in the game vs. North Salem, Anna scored her last three points of the night on an AND-1 basket at the rim. She stepped to the foul line and sank a free-throw to seal the victory.
With those 3 points, Anna Eng became the Croton Women's Varsity Basketball all-time leading scorer with 1,121 points. Anna surpassed the previous record holder, Vanessa Ortman who held the record since 2004. Presently Anna is 23 points away from matching Ian Thom's all-time school scoring record from his 5 years as a varsity player. Anna has started in 75 consecutive games for the Tigers.
