MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

So much great stuff to show you today. Click on the photos and links.

If you grew up in the late 50's or early 60's, chances are you remember these: SOAKYs by Colgate--bubble bath for kids in your favorite cartoon or seasonal character bottles. These were immensely popular and are very collectible today--CLICK ON THE PHOTO to see a 1962 ad. You can read more about their history and see some sample prices here http://bit.ly/1f3joY1

The ad is followed by MORE VINTAGE SOAKIES from a prevous auction at Croton's own SERIOUSTOYZ.

And another photo from Pete and Linda's made in Japan early putz house village; these houses are circa 1930's and were featured in the Prange's Department Store Christmas windows (Sheboygan, Wisconsin).

All are stamped JAPAN.

See more here. Remember to keep scrolling down the screen.

And finally your editor's photo from the Christmas Eve 2018 at Holy Name of Mary Church--their life-sized nativity--sans Wise Men at the time.  Click on the photos and enjoy.

  1. We collected them all and were the cleanest kids on the block, but we never got the Santa Claus or the Superman.
