For the reader with limited space who is looking for a way to display the vintage miniature circus figures she inherited, how about a tiered cupcake stand.  When space is an issue, go vertical!

There are a number of glass ones on the market, a more permanent solution,  but if cost is a factor, or if the figures are "whimsical" in nature, and you are looking for something temporary or seasonal, Oriental Trading makes A BIG TOP CUPCAKE STAND that might work--looks like it might be foamcore and/or cardboard.
