Some great finds as always. Click on the photos and links.
First up, an oldie but goodie worth revisiting...Putz
artisan Brian repro of the "Red House" from the original vintage"Fair
Set"--See the house from all angles and in various phases of
construction + a comparison to the original at the link below--keep
scrolling down the page. Another wonderful copy! http://bit.ly/2vkQ8b8. It's followed by Paramount Hi-Ho Rooftop Santa from the 1950's--with box! It's lit by a C-6 bulb and is super-minty!
Next is David Montreal's 2015 Antique feather tree. There are so many wonderful things here--we will slice it up into close-ups the next time once we have a higher resslution copy.
And finally a 1917 WWI ad for Kodak, the Canadian division. Click on the photos and enjoy.
Another friend of ours was able to get some replacement pieces for an
almost complete set of vintage dinnerware she inherited from her
grandmother at this site--and was very happy with the price and service; http://www.tias.com/stores/dwr/
A fun site https://www.bettysattic.com/
Don't know how long the link will last but these glazed "dolls" from Tim Holtz have a lot of craft potential--and are reminiscent of antique penny dolls; CLICK HERE
ONE OF OUR FAVES--TRAIN TIME-MILWAUKEE ROAD AD, JULY 1945 HIAWATHA; MORE HERE
A friend is very happy with Oriental Trading--and the "winter" crafting items she has ordered thus far (and the service too)
The shipping can be expensive, however, and she advises that you wait until you meet the minimum for free shipping. While the link lasts, check out some of their inventory at https://bit.ly/2MlAYsO
AND IN CASE YOU MISSED IT--THE LAST EDITION OF MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. IS HERE
