MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE WEBSITES, FINDS, ETC. FROM EVERYTHING CROTON

Now here's a rare find--courtesy of a previous auction @ Croton's own SeriousToyz.com--a "Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs" Dime Register Bank, 1938, 2.5 x 2.5"; it sold for $96.

If you have serious stuff, SeriousToyz has serious bidders: www.serioustoyz.com for more info.

Every town has that one house that simply goes over the top when it comes to Christmas decorating--Croton is no exception--and we love it--here's a shot of Alice's porch in 2014 that shows just a small piece of her annual holiday eye-candy.

And finally, as some of you know, Jackie Gleason lived in nearby Cortlandt and was a frequent visitor to Croton's watering holes.

His round, quintessential mid-century modern house is now on the market for twelve million per the New York Post. Click on the photos and enjoy!

  1. I think I remember that porch. She has been doing it for years and always changes it up so it is never the same. One of the great joys of living in a small town.
