GAZETTE LETTER FROM McKEON OUTLINES CONCERNS ABOUT VIILLAGE MANAGER'S CONTRACT

Residents may have an interest in a letter to the Gazette from Croton resident John McKeon.  Mr. McKeon, who spent 40 years in human resources leadership roles in the private sector, has reviewed the contemplated contract for village manager.  He expressed grave concerns about the contract, as well as the Board of Trustees understanding of their fiduciary responsibility. He adds that the proposed village manager's contract in light of the $300,000 defalcation associated with our fire department is also of concern.

Residents should read his ENTIRE letter in the 7/19 edition of the paper. The Gazette is on sale just about everywhere.

  1. Where have these folks been for the past 30 years. Croton United or the Croton Republicans have fought this battle for the entire time. Now there is no party available to continue the fight. Are you better off or worse? I guess that depends on which party you're registered to.
