As many of you know, Ted Althof (a.k.a. Papa Ted) passed away late last year; (http://everythingcroton.blogspot.com/2012/10/papa-ted-health-update.html).
Considered by collectors to be the leading authority on Putz houses,
his loss was keenly felt by friends, family and members of the
collecting community.
A Tribute to Ted has been posted:
"When Ted passed away in October, 2012, several putz house collectors
were trying to decide what would be the most appropriate way to
memorialize Ted’s work. Eventually, the idea of a putz
