HUMP DAY YADA YADA YADA

SOCIAL MEDIA STUFF: Keeping it brief---lots of chatter about what's being billed as a "faux process" regarding The Nicholson Job affair---and on one page anyone having an issue with any of it--being condemned as just another "Republican operative" or "partisan politics". Just not going there---but on another page some of the twenty plus folks who thought they had a genuine shot at the position, might....bets are being taken on who the Mayor will appoint to the empty seat---"will it be recycling time----or whoever isn't elected as long as".......moving along...

The usual chatter about the village being essentially divided--one area gets pigeon and pot-free-zones and parks---the other multi family housing, lots of ADUs, affordable, whatever, and cannabis retail. People being asked to "wake up and vote"

School stuff: Chatter and excitement about the school district moving away from young IPAD use---chatter and excitement about the landmark en banc Defending Education event---the case revival process has been kickstarted, and Judge Seibel is expected to issue a scheduling order or call a conference in the near future to set deadlines for the district's formal Answer and the plaintiff’s renewed motion...yada yada yada

Lots of very positive chatter about the Fox Elkof Patterson sign ceremony, Ed Riely, and everyone who participated and/or contributed to make it a memorable event.

Bots, the latest derangement on that particular day, and anonymous facebook posters dominate two local pages. Most folks seem to have stopped caring.  It is after all, Autumn in the Hudson Valley....
