For those who have been asking about Papa Ted, an update from Paul Race:
"My understanding is that Ted is in Hospice again, for what is, by all evidence, his last stay. Ted and his family need your prayers now more than ever. The family is not planning to have a big public viewing and funeral...They ARE thinking about having some sort of "Celebration of Ted's Life" later on." (Details will be posted.)

I read and reread his wonderful piece The Magic Window and am amazed by his insight and ability to touch us with the truth of his writing. Hard thing to let go of this man. Tom H

PapaTed has passed away. A very sad day.
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon his wonderful website some years ago, and have been a putzer ever since, even introducing others to the art of putzing. Papa Ted never forgot the wonder of Christmas through a child's eyes, and through his pictures and words, he was able to rekindle those magical memories in those of us lucky enough to have "discovered" his website. What more wonderful a legacy can any human being have than in bringing such joy to others?
