A DECEMBER UPDATE ON THE NEW OWNERS OF WHAT WAS BLACK ROCK KITCHEN--NOW TO BE KNOWN AS LA CATRINA OF WESTCHESTER

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

As many of you know, Black Rock Kitchen closed its doors earlier this month (click here for that news.)

The new owners are the Estradas; the site is being renovated---and we just love this purple color scheme---click on the photo----Chef Enrique Estrada is the former executive chef at X2O.  They hope to be opened sometime in December---the fare will be Modern Mexican with Asian and American influences.  Stay tuned.

  1. I'll miss the old BR but am happy the place will continue. I used to go to Xavier's for the occasional business lunch and am looking forward to seeing what the new people will come up with.
