ANOTHER MOVIE FOR THE BUCKET LIST: 1939, WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Truly one of the best films ever....1939.... "Wuthering Heights"....a most remarkable film.

Based on the novel by Emily Brontë and directed by William Wyler, it starred Merle Oberon and Laurence Olivier, with wonderful performances from Flora Robson and David Niven.

It's an epic---albeit tragic--love story.

The film depicts only 16 of the novel's 34 chapters, eliminating the second generation of characters.

It earned eight Academy Award nominations, including for Best Picture and Best Actor in what many consider Hollywood's greatest single year.  You can find it at Walmart, on Amazon, etc. READ MORE ABOUT THE CAST AT THE LINKS BELOW:
