A lover of literature (including Mr. Yeats) and opera (Saturday mornings listening to the Metropolitan Opera radio broadcasts; influenced by her father's singing in Verdi's Anvil Chorus). Active with Holy Name parish and the Village library.
Helen was a gifted artist, exhibiting portraiture, watercolor and pastel paintings in shows in the Hudson Valley, winning first prize in the Ossining Women's Club show. Her artwork has been lovingly shared with family and friends across the country and overseas.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Croton Caring Committee. A memorial service will be announced when the COVID virus has significantly diminished.
