HOLLIS LANE PROPERTY AS OF 4/13/20 UPDATE

As many of you know, after twenty-four years, the village quietly posted its Hollis Lane property for sale on BIDNET in 2019; it appears they were not successful.

    Is there something wrong with this property? $125k for 4+ acres seems a bit on the cheaper side.

      Agreed. But perhaps you should direct your inquiries to the village and/or r.e. agent directly.

    Paul Steinberg has been unable to post. He has requested that the following be added as a response to the question posed above:

    Only part of the road alongside the property is paved, and that makes access difficult and increases construction costs. There are high-voltage transmission lines nearby and that reduces the number of people willing to buy a house at the location. A portion of the property is subject to flooding. Although the large plot size and remote location are desirable to some purchasers, there is a limited market for this property.
