Yes it's no secret. We think Shirley Temple was simply an amazing child actress--and we loved her in Heidi. A 1937 print ad for the film.
It's followed by a scene from 1947's The Bishop Wife, starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven. Grant is seen here as The Angel, walking amongst people in the city. We think this is one of the best Christmas films ever--and to think it almost didn't happen. You can read more about it here
