AND TODAY--CROTON POINT HISTORY HIKE JULY 4TH--Croton Point Park Naturalist John Phillips and Village of Croton Historian Marc Cheshire will lead a hike on July 4 to explore the geology and history of Croton Point from its geological formation and Native American occupation to the Underhill vineyards and brick making operation. Meet at 9 a.m. at the Nature Center on Croton Point. The hike will last roughly 2 to 3 hours and the route will depend on the interests of the participants. This event is free.
