First up, by special request, this December 1953 Christmas edition of Look Magazine featuring Perry Como, a Bobbysoxer's dreamboat--and couldn't resist passing it on. Como, like Sinatra and Dean Martin, was a very big deal for those of us who grew up in an Italian home. 

Next up, it's always a thrill to be able to identify an estate sale find with 100% certainty---a friend picked up the pink broche shown on this 1917 Vantine catalog page!  It's off to our local jeweler for cleaning and a spot repair.  Lucky find---both of the catalog page and the pin!

FOR FANS OF THE FLINTSTONES--ALSO FROM TOYS AND STUFF: 1994 Return of The Flintstones Cards 50 - 54 ' Index and Character Cards--We've reached the end of the CARDZ Flintstones story cards and now have #50, the Index, and the first four character cards, Fred, Wilma, Pebbles, and Dino. The character cards were originally designed to cut the figures out from the card, bend the base of the card, and display them free-standing, however I wouldn't do that to them now! Enjoy!
