  • A statue on top of the memorial was also toppled and sprayed with red paint  
  • At least 10 other businesses were vandalized overnight, according to police

    More recent PORTLAND EVENTS....11/9/2020--Portland goons’ new thuggery--As one of five members of Portland’s City Council, Dan Ryan cast the deciding vote against defunding the city’s cops — who had to return the favor only hours later as lefty goons attacked Ryan’s home. Two commissioners (as they’re titled) voted to cut the Portland Police Department’s budget by $18 million, or 8 percent, Thursday. Ryan provided the third vote against. Whereupon the city’s pestiferous “protesters” marched to his house, shouting, shattering glass and lighting flares on his front lawn.     Rioters in Portland smashed up a local church that helps the homeless and mentally ill — as well as a feminist and LGBTQ-friendly fashion store. “Saint Andre Bessette Church is one of the many buildings that had their windows broken out during this evening’s riot,” the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office tweeted early Thursday. “This organization helps those who are homeless, experiencing poverty, mental health issues and substance abuse,” the force said.
