Welcome
to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history,
our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of
worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
For those who continue to pontificate/comment here that the village's id park policy is "not inclusive" and/or essentially does not allow for "diversity" (especially as it pertains to Silver Lake/Mayo's Landing) please take your comments and concerns directly to village officials. In the meantime, this is the official village policy you should refer to. Thank you:
Reminder: Parks ID Cards Required for Use of Village Parks--As per Section 168-4 of the Village Code, a valid parks ID card is required for use of the Village parks and conservation areas. Parks ID cards are available to both Village residents and Croton-Harmon School District residents. If you do not have a valid parks ID card, but had one previously, you can submit a renewal form here. If you will be applying for a parks ID card for the first time, please use this form. For senior residents (age 62+), there is no charge for a parks ID card. You can submit a renewal form here. If you will be applying for a parks ID card for the first time, please use this form. As the office is currently closed to the public, all ID cards will be mailed. Please allow 7-10 days for receipt of your ID cards. If you have any questions regarding the above, please call the Recreation Department at 914-271-3006. Read more
