Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton-on-Hudson: our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.
AS YOU MAY KNOW, THERE IS A BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEETING ON 9/8, Tuesday, the day after Labor Day-- (the full agenda is here)....
One of the items on the agenda is a proposal for density housing on South Riverside--the newly rezoned area--THE BESTWEB PROPERTY more or less plus....(?)....the drawings show how large the project would be---click on the photos for some of what is being proposed.....44 units.
You can see the related documents at the link below and draw your own conclusions. Questions about parking, setbacks into the hillside, views, whether the housing will be market rate, "affordable" or low income--etc. not addressed in the documents provided thus far must be directed to the village board. Bear in mind, however, that the board is still only meeting via Zoom.
