It's an excellent gin.
ReplyDeleteBefore the recaito, I used to try and make my own Cilantro mixture; too much work, very expensive and fresh cilantro was hard to find. The nice thing about this product is how concentrated it is without your having to do all the prep and cooking. We like Goya and especially their Sofrito. They also have great olives with pimentos and a price point that is very reasonable. We used that a lot for picadilla.
ReplyDeleteAssume you mean Piccdillo. This got us through many a late study night https://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/picadillo
ReplyDeleteLike Italian pasta dishes, Spanish rice and meat dishes were meant to feed many people well. The best black bean chili I ever had used Goya beans. The best black rice and squid used Goya rice and canned squid and fed all of us really well. Ronzoni and Goya helped us pay the rent on time and still eat!
ReplyDeleteConfidential to HH, please private message me with contact info. I think you will find that fb page a surprising alternative where all are welcomed and after well over five years, there has never been any "derangement". Good luck either way.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much. I was able to find it on my own. What a blessing. It was so disappointing to see cooking nice meals become a critique on political beliefs but there it was. These new ladies are more my speed and the Australian women are a hoot. With a lot of gratitude, HH
DeleteRee Drummond has some great old fashioned recipes. The Sunday church meals alone make hers a favorite site of our house.
ReplyDeleteCheck out her biscuit and bread recipes. They are excellent.
