GIRL SCOUT DAY, THEN & NOW

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools, our houses of worship--in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

A reader and former Croton Girl Scout leader, reminded your editor that...Today we celebrate Girl Scouts, formed on this date in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low. Low wanted girls to be prepared to face the world with courage, character, and confidence. READ MORE HERE.

Since that time, quite a bit has happened. We won't get into the ramifications of that, nor will any political comments be published at this post.

Instead, click on the photos and links for an Everything Croton celebratory look at girl scouting in no particular order.
