First up, a scarce and outstanding example of Marx tin/stamped metal toymanship from the 1930's previously featured in a 2009 auction at serioustoyz---and by special request--THE CITY AIRPORT. Click on the photos--there's even a close-up because we know how the "putz artisans" in our group are always looking for inspiration--maybe this one will do!

We’ve called attention to this set of vintage Christmas lights before but had to do so again when we used it to once again identify a vintage figural bulb we found at a local tag sale---spend some time viewing this marvelous collection http://www.flickr.com/photos/17041736@N07/sets/72157629243390574/with/6845586004/

And now....THE ANNUAL TRIBUTE TO MILADA JEZEK A.K.A. "MILLIE"

BACK IN 2016, we received the sad news that Linda's aunt--Milada "Millie" Jezek--who had been entertaining us for years with her annual and very beautiful vintage and antique Christmas decorating vignettes, passed away in November at the age of 100.

Millie's displays and the artful, loving way she put it all together every year, will be missed. Fortunately, we have the photo record.  Linda tells us that the family decorated Millie's room so that she passed away surrounded by her treasures.
