SMALL FIRE AT THE TAVERN AT CROTON LANDING, ALL IS WELL

Structural Fire: North Riverside Avenue Around 10:50 AM Friday, Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department - and a FASTeam from Ossining Fire Department - were dispatched to The Tavern at Croton Landing for a report of smoke coming from a wall. Units arrived finding a light smoke condition coming from an exterior wall and into the second floor apartment. Members opened up the wall to find a small, smoldering fire that was quickly extinguished. Units operated for a little over an hour assuring no fire had extended.
