UPDATED: TREE WAS DISEASED
Welcome
to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton--our history,
our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools--in short, EVERYTHING
CROTON.
For those who have expressed concerns about the large Benedict Blvd. Evergreen Tree removal this morning and whether or not its removal has anything to do with the new construction/parking lot on the corner (click on the photo), the village manager's office has indicated that the tree was "dying and will be replaced this spring."
UPDATED: TREE WAS DISEASED
Dying? Huh? Looked pretty happy to me this past Christmas. Maybe has something to do with the utility lines????????
ReplyDeleteThe tree was diseased and will be replaced in the spring.
DeleteThank you. It would have been nice to get notice of this but as long as it is being replaced.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was removed per recommendation of the village tree committee.
DeleteTree committee why not an arborist?
ReplyDeleteThe committee has an arborist on it.
DeleteTree has been replaced. It's a nice tee but no where as big and won't make much of an impression for a few years.
