Wonderful mini photo album from Flickr friend Curt; some excellent close-ups of Indiana Made Guns, especially the Washington Hatfield Rifle - Made in Owensburg, Indiana...One of Indiana's most famous early gunsmith/gunmakers was George Washington Hatfield, who was commonly known as "Wash Hatfield". He was born in Campbell County, Tennesse, in 1812 or 1813. The Hatfields moved from Tennesse to Southern Indiana, in the early 1830's, settling in Greene County, where Owensburg is now located.
