Gina was someone I referred to affectionately as one of Croton's "church ladies", and that is how I knew her best. But she was more than that.
Always there to lend a hand at Holy Name events, she was a tireless volunteer at countless St. Patrick's celebrations, Oktoberfests, numerous other Knights of Columbus events, the annual church rummage sale, and so much more. That she managed to do all this while being impeccably coiffed and with a genuine smile, was just another of her many gifts. She was also sweet, kind, carried herself with grace, an excellent listener, and was a "roll up your sleeves and just do it" kind of woman. I will miss seeing her.
