CROTON'S HOLBROOK BLINN IN A REVIVAL OF...OSCAR WILDE'S "A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE"

Welcome to Everything Croton, a collection of all things Croton -- our history, our homes, our issues, our businesses, our schools -- in short, EVERYTHING CROTON.

Courtesy of an Evertything Croton Elve, Croton's own Holbrook Blinn, of Blinn Road fame, in Oscar Wilde's A WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, (revival 1916, 1917).

Though largely forgotten today, Blinn had quite a career in the theatre and silent films--and was very much a matinee idol in his time.

Click on the photos and links.

Blinn is buried in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.

You can read and see more about him here and here.
