Students, Parents, and Community, The Croton
Police Department has notified us that a bear was spotted in the area around
199 Cleveland Drive at approximately 1:25 p.m.today. The Police
have driven through the area and have not spotted the animal. At
this point we will be dismissing as usual; however, if you prefer to pick up
your child from school, please contact the Welcome Center or Main Office as
soon as possible.

The Croton-on-Hudson Police Department has received two calls this afternoon regarding bear sightings in the village. The first was at approximately 1:25 p.m. in the area of Cleveland Drive; a second sighting occurred around 2 p.m. on Mountain Trail. If you have a bear sighting in your neighborhood, please contact the police department non-emergency line immediately at 914-271-5177. In case of an emergency, always dial 911.

Yogi is seeking to get his degree, and was scoping out schools in the area. As you may have heard, he is "smarter than the average bear."
