And here's a blurb on Swanson's purchase of her Croton home and property on "Kitchawan Mountain" from the 1924 Photoplay Magazine.
The blurb talks about some of her notable neighbors, including playwright Margaret Mayo (of Mayo's Landing fame) and Holbrook Blinn (of Blinn Road Fame) among other area players, literary folk and artists.
Speaking of "literary folks", a 1980 blurb about famous American poet Ruth Lisa Schecter, editor of the Croton Review, author of six poetry books, etc.

She was a poet and a catalyst of all things creative and died in 1989.
