WEEKEND WEATHER FOR THE HUDSON VALLEY

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for southeast New York for Sunday due to the potential for heavy rainfall and scattered flooding.

The National Weather Service’s alert includes Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties in the Hudson Valley.

“An approaching frontal system acting on a very moist air mass may produce heavy rainfall capable of causing isolated to scattered flooding Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening,” the National Weather Service said.
