INFLATION SURGES TO 8.5%

Prices Skyrocket: Inflation Hits Four-Decade High | National Review--Year-over-year inflation saw yet another precipitous increase in March according to data released by the Department of Labor on Tuesday.

The Consumer Price Index, a major inflation gauge measuring the cost of the average household basket of goods, came in at 8.5 percent over the 12-month period ending in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. That marks the largest 12-month increase since the period ending December 1981.

    I actually think it is much higher than that. My pup's medicine is up twenty three percent. My own medicine is up fourteen percent. I haven't bought beef in months.
