#1, RUPTURED GAS MAIN, MT. AIRY ROAD, FROM CROTON ON HUDSON FIRE DEPT. FB PAGE - At 10:30 AM a Full Department Response was assigned to the lower end of Mount Airy Road where an excavator struck a high pressure gas main. Engine 118 arrived first with Deputy Chief 2087 confirming the high pressure leak and requested Con Edison on a rush. E118 secured a hydrant and members from that unit, Utility 14 & U208 began checking surrounding homes and structures. READ AND SEE MORE HERE.
