Sadly there will be no annual New Year's Day
concert at Holy Name of Mary in 2021. And so your editor had a special
request for a re-post of happier days from the 2015 event..
The
concert, which has been a Holy Name of Mary tradition since
1993----featured Richard Simons conducting the Cortlandt Chamber
Orchestra.
The 2015 program included Strauss--and American
composers too. The Don Simons Family Funtime Band warmed up the
crowd with old favorites. Click on the photos below, all rights
reserved. Here's hoping the concerts will be able to resume again soon as life slowly returns to normal.
