As always, some wonderful new finds, oldies but goodies, special requests and more....click on the photos and links.

First up, Life Magazine has a special 50th Anniversary editon for The Mary Tyler Moore Show!  We found this one at a local CVS.  The show originally aired on CBS from September 19, 1970 to March 19, 1977. Moore starred as Mary Richards, an unmarried, independent woman focused on her career as associate producer at the fictional WJM news program in Minneapolis. A central female character who was not married or dependent on a man was a rarity in American television in the 1970s, leading to numerous publications citing The Mary Tyler Moore Show as groundbreaking television....

Next up, a special request---Howard's repro/interpretation of the vintage made in Japan Cottage with Porch putz house; see it from start to finish with pattern here.

It's followed by an ad for the 1943 WWII movie---Johnny Doughboy--with Jane Withers--yep, Josephine the Plumber later in life(!)----and former members of the Little Rascals a.k.a.
