ROB, MONICA, THE LATE ANITA DARIAN & CHRISTMAS IN FEBRUARY

Rob and Monica--of Our Adventures Amongst the Ducks--had another sale-ing adventure, ending up in a house owned by the late Anita Darian (click on the photo).

For those who don't know, Darian was an opera singer and actress--and was the soprano you heard on The Tokens' 1961 #1 hit "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".  She made a number of classical recordings with various contemporary composers as well as solo albums for Fidelio and Kapp Records. You can hear her singing Misirlou at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCeFV7b-y_c

Read more about Rob and Monica's latest adventures here, lots of photos as always--"Christmas in February":
