TRENDING ON SOCIAL MEDIA THIS FINE FRIDAY NIGHT

---As many of you are aware from assorted sources both here and out of state, there are a number of concerning items in certain village IDEA committee transcripts and/or recordings.  These are part of the public record.

As blog editor, I've chosen not to publish the comments received in this matter or link to the material in question at present.  The antisemitism alone---as well as the naming of certain residents for the crime of being essentially Conservative, Republican, whatever--was a bit too much, especially this week.  It is easy to understand, however,  why some folks might feel the need to be anonymous in our "inclusive" village.

For the moment, you will have no trouble finding this on your own---and at least three of the village's six(?) social media pages have content.  For those not on social media, a simple Google search will also prove sufficient.  Moving along....

----Please consider stopping by the 10/18 Chemical Engine fundraiser for Mike Riecke; 100% of the proceeds go to Mike and his family as he battles cancer.

Our all-volunteer fire department is there for you; let's be there for Riecke.  See more at EverythingCroton: CHEMICAL ENGINE FUNDRAISER FOR MIKE RIECKE OCTOBER 18
