ELMSFORD, N.Y. (October 5, 2026) ------------ The MGA Mid-Amateur takes its 20th playing back to where it all started as Hudson National Golf Club in Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., hosts the championship October 6-7.
The MGA’s final multi-day championship of the season welcomes the region’s top players ages 25 and above to compete for the Westmoreland Cup, named for longtime MGA Tournament Director Gene Westmoreland who was instrumental in launching the championship and has a great passion for the mid-amateur game. Players earn the highly sought-after invitation based on finishes in MGA and other Met Area events. Recent editions have taken place at Country Club of Fairfield, Manasquan River, and Laurel Links, with Hudson National serving as just the second club to host twice (Bayonne: 2008, 2017).
